Crowdtap Missions

Crowdtap is a service that matches you with companies that want people to test, review, and answer simple questions about products and preferences.  You are entered into contests for free gift cards for participating and active participants can qualify to test products for free in exchange for simple challenges such as taking photos and reviewing the products.  I have received several of these missions and have really enjoyed them.  Here are some of my more recent missions.

I just tested this Toilet Tissue for a Crowdtap mission sponsored by Scott.  This is a new take on making their product green without sacrificing quality.  It was a high quality tissue and the missing tube went virtually unnoticed.  I feel that buying this toilet tissue is a very easy way to help the environment out by being a little greener.  I will definitely buy this product again.  I am being green without sacrificing quality...so why not?

Used 1 FREE 12 Pack Coca Cola from mycokerewards.com ((250 points).  These have to be mailed to you.  These will usually deduct $4.99 (the full value of the coupon).

This Sunday's Coupon Inserts

I am sure that everyone is noticing that the Southern Illinoisan Sunday Newspaper has not had the SmartSource inserts and according to their facebook page it doesn't look like they will return until this summer.  They are having a dispute with Smart Source and until it is resolved no coupons for us.  They will still have Proctor and Gamble and RedPlum inserts.  This week we should expect both of those inserts.  If you want the SmartSource insert you can get the Courier & Press and hope they have decent SmartSource coupons (they never seem to have as many in their inserts) or you can buy the ST. Louis Post Dispatch.  I have to figure out where to buy it myself.  I suspect it will have better coupons anyway.

There are a lot of coupons coming out this weekend so it will be worth the effort to get your papers from somewhere.  It looks like the RedPlum will have quite a few food coupons and the Proctor and Gamble inserts have some coupons that will make good deals on CVS and Walgreens sales.

CVS Haul 2/17/13

Well, I was slow moving this morning and a lot of people bought some items out before I got there, but I still did pretty good.  I had to adjust sizes and just couldn't get some items, but that is a fact  of life.  We were completely out of Coke Zero so I was thrilled that it was in stock and I could get that deal (TWICE). 

Here is what I ended up with:

*I started with $19 ECB and rolled the ECBs in 4 separate transactions.  This means that I used the $19 ECB on some items and then I used the $20 ECB from that transaction on the next on and so on.


Breakdown:  I spent $18.67 out of pocket.  I have $7.30 worth of ECB to use next time.  The value of my haul was approximately $158.67.  A savings of 88%!  The Coke Zero alone would have cost more than my oop.

Campbells® Slow Kettle® Style Soups

Campbells® Slow Kettle® Style Soups: Thx Campbells® #SlowKettle 4 the free soup and cool stuff!  The soup was great!  It had a great flavor and was really chunky with yummy ingredients.  I am on a smiley360 mission and I received free product and a free gift for trying and sharing about this product.
