Schnucks Haul

I went to Schnucks last night and got some great deals.  My husband and I spent a total of $88.58 and brought home $303.69 worth of groceries.  I am pleased!  We pre planned our trip as we didn't have a lot of shopping time.  We had to work this morning.  Here are some of our great finds:

Grapefruit Deal: 2 bottles of Ocean Spray Grapefruit juice and a 5 pound bag of grapefruit for a total of $1.99.  My husband found a tearpad with a coupon for free 5 pound bag of grapefruit if you buy 2 bottles of Ocean Spray Grapefruit juice
        I used (2) of the printable coupons for $2.00 off of grapefruit juice that I posted on the      facebook page.



Quaker Granola bars for .88 using the $1.00/2 any Quaker Product from the February All You Magazine.

Wishbone Sald Dressing  for .27 (1/27/13 RP , .70/1)

Ragu for .90 (1/27/13 RP, .60/2)

Uncle Ben's rice cups for .25 (1/6/13 RP, $1.00/2)

I also scored a FREE magazine subscription to Weight Watchers!!!  I purchased 3 boxes of Jolly Time microwave popcorn for .17 each after the .75/1 coupon and on the back of the box was a mail in form for the subscription and all you need to mail in are 3 UPC from the boxes.

20 pack Coke products $4.59 after the coupons on the box.
Score 4 12 packs of Pepsi X Factor for a total of $3.96 with coupons on the boxes.

Look for the 2 for $4.00 sales (Schnucks and Nichols). If the store does Super Doubles (up to $1.00) you can pick these up for $1.00 a box. Great deal especially with Super Bowl coming up! Look for specially marked boxes and get codes for Kelloggs Family Rewards to use toward future high value coupons and other great stuff.

Walgreens Deals

Walgreens uses Register Rewards and Balance Reward Points in their sales.  These can be a bit complicated so I suggest you read up on their program and their guidelines.   They also have store coupons that you can "stack" with your manufacturer coupons to make your deals even better.

Nichols Deals

For my Friends and Family back home.

Nichols doubles coupons up do and including $1.00 everyday.  This can make for some awesome deals for you guys.  I will try to update these as often as possible.  The only problem is that not everyone gets the exact same coupons across the country but they are usually pretty close.  That being said if I post a deal and you don't get that coupon in your insert you may need to look online or if you are lucky enough to have family and friends in other areas sometimes you can get them through them.

Today's Inserts

Good morining, everyone!  Well we didn't get all the inserts we had hoped.  The Southern Illinoisan didn't have the Smart Source insert.  The Courier & Press did but there were only a few coupons in it.  The good news is that we did get THREE inserts and that is good for most weeks.  Both papers had the Proctor & Gamble inserts and they have over $92 in savings!  I am excited to get to clipping and see what I have and what match ups I can make to local stores for my maximum savings.  I will be back soon!
