CVS Haul...Check It Out!

I made a quick stop in at CVS last night and purchased $37.71 worth of items for $3.48 out of pocket.  I also left with $4.00 ECB to spend next time!

Here is how I did it:                                           CVS Deals 2/3/13

I purchased

2 -4oz. CrestDual Blast Toothpaste
     on sale for 2/$5.00
used (2) .75 manufacturer coupons from Sunday's paper.
used (1) $2.00/2 CVS red Machine store coupon on any toothpaste
     received $2.00 ECB wyb 2

1- 2.3 oz Lady Speed Stick
     on sale for $1.99
CVS Daily Deal coupon made it .99  Coupon Here
used (1) .50 manufacturer coupon from Sunday's paper (could use the Power version for $1.00 off)

2- 2 Liter Diet Pepsi
     on sale for .99 each
     used (1) $1.00/2 printable coupon from coupons.com

2- 7 & 10 oz. Skintimate Shave Gel
used B1G1 printable from coupons.com that was available a few weeks ago ($3.00 value)
received $2.00 ECB wyb 1 (limit of 1)

1- 12 pack Coke Zero
used "free" coupon from my coke rewards (I used points from coke products to get this)
     (up to $3.99 value)
1- 12.6 oz Suave Professionals Keratin Shampoo
used "free" coupon from a facebook promotion on the Suave site.  They gave away free coupons to the first certain number of people  to fill out the form on their site.  They them mail the coupon to you. (up to $3.50 value)

I also used my $10.00 CVS cash card that I received a few weeks ago for purchasing $30.00 worth of cash card sale items.  (The $30.00 is before coupons so I really didn't spend $30.00 to earn the cash card)

I will use my $4.00 ECB from this transaction on future purchases to make my oop less.  This is called rolling your ECB rewards.  For instance if I buy something for $4.00 that will give me $4.00 ECB back and I use my previous $4.00 ECB to pay.  I end up with the same amount of ECB and no out of pocket other than taxes.  (ECB cannot be used to cover tax amounts)
